For IT / IT Security products and solutions, what's worse? I will share my opinion in the comments later on. I will also mention, that when we look back at some of the greatest products and services used by many that were wildly successful, were because people enjoy using them or they in some way helped us to solve a problem or a need! Thoughts?

One method that has proven effective is conducting a semi-annual questionnaire to gather feedback from staff about their sentiments toward the IT organization. Reviewing these comments helps in gauging the overall satisfaction and identifying areas that need improvement. It's essential to share positive feedback with the staff to acknowledge their good work and also address any negative feedback to make necessary improvements.
Additionally, another tangible indicator of success (which happened recently) is when a staff member from my team gets nominated by the mayor's office for employee of the month recognition due to their outstanding contributions and excellent work.
These various methods provide valuable feedback and serve as indicators that we are on the right track in supporting the department and the organization as a whole.
