If you are looking for actual assets:
I would love to further integrate our physical asset management tool with our ITSM and network asset discovery tools to get a much better view of what is supposed to be on our network, and what is something we should go look at.
If you are looking at just assets for cyber security (tools/systems, etc...):
I would love to continue to consolidate and put as much actionable content into our SIEM. At the same time I would love to outsource the management of our incident monitoring and response (SOC) work to a 3rd party, so that they can manage the eyes on glass and collaborate with our onsite staff to respond to local events. This would free up our staff to do more important things from our security strategy than worrying about blocking the latest phishing email.
