If you had to make a 2025 New Year's resolution for your IT organization, what would it be?

Embrace the need to address tech debt across all aspects of the organization and take every new project as an opportunity to simultaneously improve something that's limped along over the years.
We've done our "Operational Excellence" journey a few years ago. We are now so good in it that it lowered our productivity... I would like to see a better balance between "having a great stability" and "deliver more value".
As we step into 2025, our primary resolution and goal for our organization is to enhance our "Operational Excellence" in delivering a seamless experience for our customers. Specifically, we aim to:
Increase Visibility: Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact our customers.
Enhance Delivery Consistency and Repeatability: Ensure that our services are delivered consistently and can be reliably repeated.
Improve Quality and Security: Elevate the quality and security of everything we do.
We are committed to these goals and look forward to achieving them together.
My New Year's resolution for IT would be to embrace Communication! IT are often skilled with technology but more and more often our role is to orchestrate/coordinate/quarterback technologies that are provided by SAAS providers vs. in house, deep hands on techies. Therefore the important of communicate, communicate, communicate - especially in writing is vital to IT's success and perception in the organization.
To consolidate our modernization efforts and improve our operating model, we need to challenge ourselves to work differently and add more value to our customers.
