We are using AI tools predominantly for email personalization and meeting summarization.
Lot of good ideas are shared here, another additional option is HACKATHON
Generating ideas, doing a PoC and voting them for an employee recognition and rewards program.
I have seen this to enable a quick adoptability and ensure the AI is not disrupting the company's culture and work ethics.
Another option is "Prompting help" for outlook and office products.
Send out a bi-weekly email on prompt engineering how to use Co-Pilots with office products or other Co-Pilot enabled products in the market.
For example, use the prompt on Friday afternoon to check whether all emails and action items are address "Check for email, I have NOT taken action which are due this week"
This will encourage them to use and get adopted to AI
In our case, we did the following...
1 - give everyone across the company freedom to learn, try, build (all registered by in our compliance register)
2 - cultivate an AI cohort to accelerate learning from each other
3 - deploy quickly/safely and then refine. We initially see 65% positive feedback and then drive up to the mid 80's by refining based on feedback
Lots of training. Less my team and more of the customer that then is putting pressure on my team to get smarter on AI.
I agree. Internal Audit isn't just one function, we need to move and learn about all the new risks, new technical skills, new technologies...in ALL functions across the entire organization. People say we don't need to be an expert on them, but we need to know enough to have a conversation or to effectively challenge our auditees in order to bring value to them. AI is a tough one because it's new, it's technical, it's opaque.

Having said that, if it's something that you can't change or control, then you can only accept and learn to adapt to it. Learning, training, hiring more technical people that knows modeling and understand the codes behind them. And then it's automation all the way...no longer do you have time to waste on copy and pasting documents.
We trained a Predictive AI model on our historical engagement data and then deployed it to select the most likely companies (and contacts within those companies) to be interested in a particular technology solution as a way of optimizing our demand generation campaigns for clients.
