Obtain consent and disclose in an easy to access and view statement the purpose/intent of the use and collection upfront before option for consent is given/denied; advise in a policy or terms and conditions regarding the same and also duration of use and retention, how consumers or employees can request deletion, request information on use cases and what data is kept vs destroyed and when, and what consequences of the same are.
