Oracle has announced that, effective January 2019, Java SE 8 public updates will no longer be available for Business, Commercial or Production use without a commercial license. How does this affect you? How you plan to engage Java SE8 going forward and what other vendors are you considering?

Corretto is still in preview, and only provides RPMs for linux for Java 8 at the moment. It looks like https://adoptopenjdk.net/ is the best option for industry supported free support for Java updates going forward, and https://www.azul.com/ is best if you must have paid support. I don't see anyone interested in paying Oracle. The bottom line, is you need to evaluation your usage, and either migrate to some form of OpenJDK or get a support contract from Oracle.
