What project management templates or tools do you use for HR projects?  Specifically, I'm looking for timeline / milestone tools, rather than templates for a project charter or plan.

Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission has onboarded to SharePoint and MS365, Planner is very effective and gives great views for project progress tracking and task assignment.

Hello.

While our business our project management software that is used by our engineering and ICT staff the licences are limited.  I have therefore created my own spreadsheet that outlines timelines and milestone tools.   I have also used Smartsheet which has some great built-in tools.   The version I have created for myself is similar to one of the gantt charts that is readily available in microsoft (https://create.microsoft.com/en-us/template/agile-gantt-chart-c29ed7ae-85bf-4494-9a46-cf50fab44efa).

Depending on the compexity of the project we would also hold regular stand-ups to check on progress and to help address any blockers.

Thanks

Thank you, Lisa.  We have a similar situation, in that PM software is used by the engineers and IT professionals in our organization, but for those of us in business disciplines, it is less common (and likely unnecessary).  I have been using a Gantt chart in Excel but was wondering if there were other, more flexible products.  I will check out Smartsheet.  Thanks again.
