The job grades and band structure for a Technology organization in India will typically depend on the size and type of company, as well as the industry in which they operate. Generally, there is a combination of roles and levels such as entry-level, mid-level and senior-level positions.
In most large Technology organizations, the levels typically range from entry-level (L1) to senior-level (L7). The actual Band structure may vary from company to company. However, they will usually include roles, such as Associate I, Associate II, Engineer I, Engineer II, Senior Engineer, Manager, Senior Manager, Director, and Senior Director.
In Data & Analytics, Banking, Data Science, and Data Engineering, the roles and grades may differ slightly depending on the specific requirements of the company. However, in general, the job grades are almost similar.
