Do any of you regularly document one-on-one meetings and if so, any templates you can share? I have a few new Team Leads and Supervisors.

I like the framework Pascal posted. I don't have a template but meet weekly for 30-60 minutes, start with the employee's discussion topics and follow with mine. Quarterly meet to review progress on larger goals and projects. I document using journals in our HRMS or OneNote.

I use the 10 - 10 - 10 ->
10 minutes : General Chat, carreer development, training, etc
10 minutes : Employee topics - hopefully given in advance, but not a nessecity.
10 minutes : My topics, objective review, etc

Both end need to prepare a bit, and it's iterative and works well.

Meet every week. if you prefer 60min meeting, then 20 - 20 - 20.

Yes agree with Pascal.

In term of template I am using 2 types of documents :
- Rail (Rolling Action Item List) where you can track from one meeting to another, actions follow up or information

- 4 Blockers in order to have a quick overview of either Dept. Activities or Project activities

Both are coming from 6 sigma / Lean IT approach
