There are 2 metrics you should look at : 1) Core Web Vitals and 2) Page Load time ...you can use tools(many are available ) in the market.

Should be super fast. As people do expect fast internet and have that at home and on private devices as well. Good benchmark (in the eyes of an employee) is always a popular news site from your own country. 

The challenge lies with the IT-department. Where is it hosted (on-site of cloud) and what about the security protocols in place to keep it safe (draining your response time)

Our intranet is hosted on wiki.js and pages take less than 1 second to load.

I'm enhancing our CTO (data center, network, middleware, end user services, chief of staff, project/portfolio mgmt) operational metrics reporting. I'd be grateful for any insights, templates, tools you've found helpful, or cautionary tales about what didn't work.
