I am currently using the mapping of 2017 vs 2024 from The IIA, highlighting significant changes. Planning to present this to our CAE with action plans.

Gartner research, of course. I have a colleague who is assigned the gap analysis effort, proposing actions (and due dates) to close the gap, creating & preparing the management reports for updates. Unfortunately, the same colleague is mostly the assigned action party to close out the identified gaps. All of the efforts are done in simple spreadsheets and Word documents.
