The top resource allocation challenge I face in balancing different priorities is ensuring that short-term operational demands don't overshadow long-term strategic goals. In the fast-paced environment of my work, there's always a pressing need or an urgent problem that requires immediate attention. This often leads to a reactive approach where resources are allocated to extinguish the latest 'fire', rather than being used to do something of value or productive.
