Ultrawide vs Dual Monitors - Any Experience? We are considering replacing our dual monitor set ups with one ultrawide monitor.  Has anyone looked at this in detail and had any user experience feedback or procurement issues with migrating to this?

Sorry - I have no experience with this.

I've used both, and for desktop work the ultra-wide was fantastic, though I moved back to dual screens as I have 30+ meetings a week, often sharing screens and it is much easier to manage with sharing one screen, working on other, than just having the ultra-wide.

As a Business Analyst, I moved from a dual-monitor setup to a single ultrawide screen, and it has completely transformed the way I work. A significant part of my role involves analysing and mapping complex business and system workflows. The ultrawide monitor allows me to view entire business process maps and workflows in one instance, which not only improves efficiency but also helps reduce mistakes that can occur when you can’t see the full picture.

This setup also makes developing maps and workflows far easier, as you can see the entire thread without constant scrolling or switching between screens. I’ve recommended this approach to colleagues, and they’ve experienced similar benefits. The additional screen real estate enhances multitasking and clarity, which ultimately improves accuracy. I was so impressed that I purchased an ultrawide monitor for my home office as well. Hope this helps.
