The CLM marketplace is extremely crowded and there's no single CLM solution that fits all. Indeed, a particular industry like financial services or pharma may have a particular favorite CLM because it fits their processes and solves their issues. Before selecting a CLM, there are a number of strategic questions that must be answered: (1) current state -- what are the pain points, inefficiencies, (2) what specific requirements are necessary -- drafting, in-software negotiation, approval workflows, eSig, and needed/wanted analytics tracking and (3) what are you trying to solve by implementing a CLM -- improving contract cycle times, compliance, tracking, collaboration, etc. Selecting a CLM based on number of users might help narrow the choices.
