We have explaining on high level carved out system APIs for each information like Customer (with attributes), Contract, Product directly from main ERP system database. From that we hav created services (API) linked to powerBI we use MS azure. We are a company of 250, this is easy to create shoulf have the governence knowledge an full stach devops.
