In reading the book 'When Machines Become Customers' by Don Scheibenreif and Mark Raskino, I start to be intrigued by this idea that Machine-Machine business models are rapidly developing new opportunities (enabled via IoT + AI + Cloud), and this 'explanation' starts to join the dots in a meaningful way. Very interested to hear comments from peers on this question. The hype around agents and in general a misunderstanding of what an agent is, and how to spin up solutions, is already creating for me some quite interesting conversations ...read more1
