Welcome
Everbridge is a mission-driven company focused on keeping people safe and organizations running faster. With more than 6,000 global organizations harnessing the power of Everbridge technology, Everbridge enables total resilience to organizations by providing a protective, proactive, and personal approach to critical event management.
Over the last 19 years, Everbridge has dedicated itself to building the industry’s most reliable and scalable notification and incident management solutions, serving cities, companies, and countries alike. Today, Everbridge is the No. 1 global provider of national alerting systems — powering countries including The Netherlands, Australia, Spain, Peru, Singapore, Sweden, and the UK to keep residents and visitors safe from natural and human-made disasters. In addition, Everbridge’s industry-first Best in Enterprise Resilience™ Certification program serves some of the top enterprises in operational resilience, including Goldman Sachs, Dow, Alexion, Takeda, Siemens, Discover, and NBCUniversal.
Recently, Everbridge has broadened its critical event management capabilities and works to alleviate growing climate risks by harnessing data and transforming information into a robust approach to climate resilience across three dimensions at a practical, operational level:
- Mitigation: By mitigating or eliminating the impact of a threat by speeding up responses to critical climate events, Everbridge can help organizations avoid replacement costs and emit zero carbon emissions.
- Adaptation: As threats evolve, organizations need to alert those in harm’s way while collaborating on a solution. With Everbridge Public Warning, organizations can help save lives during critical climate events by providing a comprehensive, flexible, and modular public warning when every second counts.
- Potential loss and damage: Everbridge creates an orchestrated response to loss and damage with its Critical Event Management Platform, helping organizations avert reconstruction costs and stay running despite disruption from critical climate events.
In September 2021, Gartner identified climate change as a major operational risk to organizations around the globe, stating that security and risk management leaders should be prepared to face new and exacerbated risks concerning climate change. In its report, Gartner also stressed the importance of preparing a robust climate resilience strategy amid increasing climate threats.
Everbridge Executive Vice President Vernon Irvin opening the special session at COP26 World Climate Summit featuring Jessica Deckinger and John Maeda.Several compelling discussions at the COP26 World Climate Summit in November 2021 echoed Gartner and addressed the importance of data in measuring and establishing long-lasting climate resilience. With Everbridge already playing a pivotal role in mitigating climate risk, Everbridge is in a unique position to use its resilience agenda to support the growing data emergency developing alongside the climate crisis.
The Global Resilience Index Initiative (GRII) aims to address the data emergency contributing to the climate crisis by helping asset owners compare portfolio risks across geographies and hazards: helping countries prioritize national adaptation investments. In addition, the Infrastructure Pathways guide aims to help practitioners build infrastructure adapted to climate change and its disruptions as climate risks evolve. With resilience at the foreground of our pledge to both the private and public sector, Everbridge helps promote and develop future societal resilience by providing data and technology designed to keep the world safe and organizations running faster.
As the world moves from the frenzy of COP26 pledges to implementation, open access to data across standards is critical for managing risk and compliance on the trillions of investment dollars promised to drive mitigation and adaptation efforts surrounding the global climate crisis. Everbridge recognizes the importance of these investments and strives to provide resilience data and technology to organizations around the globe, creating a world where future generations can prosper despite disruptions caused by climate change.
