Engineering is the leading group in Italy in software and Information Technology services and one of the top 10 European companies, with an integrated full offer of business integration and consulting, application, infrastructure and innovative service outsourcing in Cloud Computing mode, solutions for vertical markets, strategic consultancy.

6.500 IT specialists, 43 branches spread throughout Italian regions and larger towns, Belgium and the EU, South America and the Middle East, a portfolio of consolidated revenue of 758.6 million Euro (the latest forecast for 2011 envisages consolidated revenue exceeding 800 million Euro). The group has traditionally grown at a high-than-average market rate since 1980, thanks to its dual strategy that rewards the capacity of endogenous growth and a policy of acquisitions in the business lines and vertical markets.

The total market share of the Group is 7%, with a consolidated presence in a variety of vertical markets: Public Administration, Industry, Finance, Telecommunications, and Energy and Utilities. The Engineering group operates in the previous markets with specific business units which are supported by a transversal SAP centre of expertise and by the central Direction for Research and Innovation.

Engineering is a group of 13 international companies specialised according to market segment or line of business. The parent company, Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A. has been listed on the Milan Stock Exchange since December 2000. The flotation amounts to 12.5 million shares, of which 33% are traded on the market and the remaining 67% held by the founding partners.
