Has “AI” been added to any of the data and analytics leadership role titles (Head/Director/VP/SVP) at your organization?

No CDAO roles either...as if CDOs weren't already burning out in 3 years, lol. We consider data governance separate from the BI roles USING high quality data for analytics and visualization. The combined CDAO model is infurating because yet again compliance, ethics, minimization, and privacy quickly fall out of sight and out of mind. Everyone wants a shiny dashboard!  I am witnessing a drop in data quality, just as good ole 1950s AI/ML get new running shoes and a marketing team that tells everyone the robots are coming for us.  AI? Do we need to separate it from all the other algorthms? I think not. Data Governance handles AI governance for systems and data, just like they do in terms of data access and privacy. BI and Analytics folks, I am happy to toss you AI modeling and depoyment!
