I’m concerned about increasing 1:1s. It sounds like “We need to have more meetings to discuss why projects are falling behind”…. Very Dilbert like
Instead I would shorten duration of 1:1s and focus on helping reduce barriers etc. in some cases we switched to less frequent 1:1s to allow more work time.
If the project manager truly messes up the timeline then press to recalibrate to a realistic timeline or you’ll lose the staff you have
