Cost is not always easy to quantify with cloud adoption. Sustainable goals, resiliency, and being agile is a major factor.

When it comes to Data Centers, always work on monitoring and optimizing PUE by reducing inefficiencies in cooling, using highly efficient and green capacity components, virtualizing, and removing legacy inefficient old physical servers.

When your company executes on full DC migrations, moving from 1 physical DC to another one, which alternative is most used?  1. Re-allocate IP addresses and re-configure applications / systems, so called greenfield or 2. Move IP's, using L2 extensions, so called lift & shift, no changes for application.
