Interesting - there's two questions wrapped up in here - how much do they, and how much should they.

I've answered based on "should"

Do is quite variable though, as it will depend on the org and how they have positioned IT and the role they play.

Which gives me a thought on another question to be asking

Looking for info/experiences working with agentic platform vendor, Yellow.ai. We have been working on procuring services with them for over a year and now it seems every contact we've been working with has left the company and replaced with new staff (and even some of them are now gone and have been replaced).
