Might also be thinking about what constitutes a “cybersecurity” spend to each industry. A lot of tools that have security benefits are enablers to tech companies to drive value, where other industries might consider them security related expenses. 🤔
Agree— bit of a loose definition
It's because Cybersecurity is in many cases a sub to IT so items such as a laptop, std software, etc are under the bigger umbrella.
