Especially for entertainment and media it is needed to provide a better experience than classic RDP. Dedicated optimised VDI is needed to provide a smooth experience and correct colours.

We scaled our daily average VDI usage from about 10 sessions per day to about 100 per day over a 4 week stretch.  This enabled us to meet the equipment and remote work demands of our employees during the beginnings of the Pandemic.  This scaling required some additional hardware which we were able to acquire, install using remote hands, and scale up remotely to meet our needs.  Nutanix and VMWare horizon have perfomed well during this event.

Without a doubt - Technical Debt! It's a ball and chain that creates an ever increasing drag on any organization, stifles innovation, and prevents transformation.
