What are your thoughts on AI processing happening directly on your device versus in the cloud? What matters most to you when it comes to where your AI operations take place?

On device processing can bring greater security, eliminate latency and provide the opportunity for extreme personalization, e.g. designed for the customer of 1.  Together with rapidly emerging Small Language Models and Agentic AI on device operations will enable us to drive faster time to both top and bottom line value. 

Always own your AI. If you don't, someone else will. 

It’s an architectural strategic design option, linked to data privacy, performance and functionality of that AI capability, wrapped up on TCO.

Control. We want to own our AI for any number of reasons ranging from security to ethics.
