What is your adjusted service date policy?  Do you have a timeframe (if they return within 6 months) or do you use a service calculator?

In previous policies we have used 6 months as the timeframe. If they boomerang within less than 6 months then their tenure calculator continues to be added to, but if it's past 6 months then they start over in tenure.

This adjustment is typically based on the duration of the break and the organisations specific rules.
The specific rules and calculations involved can differ.
We don’t adjust unless if it’s sabbatical.
