Is anyone here facing challenges importing hardware into Saudi Arabia with their new ROHS reporting standards? Interested to know if anyone is having to engage labs or get certifications for your products or components. Also if you are an OEM, are you having your direct component suppliers obtain the Saudi RoHS certifications or are you yourself engaging labs to get certs on critical components?

I don’t have direct experience with this issue, but I do think that we engaged with a local provider that we source laptops and desktops from. We don’t really have any specialized hardware there.

I’d be interested in a solution as well. Both for employees visiting, as well as for shipping in general to regions in the middle east. Our legal is a bit hesitant to ship any form of hardware internationally due to changing import/export laws and prefer local sourcing.
