We are using Workspot and have about a quarter of people using it. It's been 5 years and we would like to increase the numbers but cost is still an issue.

How is the experience for users? Are they happy in terms of performance vs. desktops? Haven't ran Citrix in a few years and I'm curious how to performs nowadays.

Azure WVD is a pretty good solution with strong security options from reverse connect and Azure Firewall, to Azure AD with Conditional Access, to Defender suite of products. Also, Cloud PC service is probably coming soon.
