My focus is on identifying potential leaders, offering opportunities for growth and continuous learning. Here are some strategies I apply:
- Encourage participation in courses, workshops and training.
- Facilitate contact with other leaders, both within the company and also with customers.
- Offer constructive feedback with a focus on emotional intelligence and team building.
- Give freedom, because without this it is impossible for a leader to develop.
It's hard work but I don't know of any other way to do it that generates as good results :-)

I believe that leadership is about inspiring and enabling others to achieve a shared vision and purpose. I value trust, collaboration, and continuous learning as the core elements of my leadership style and philosophy. To develop leadership on my team i begin with assessing the current capabilities of my team and my future needs. I spend time coaching and mentoring my prospect leaders, and help them navigate through leadership challenges. I foster a culture of leadership on my team.
My leadership approach is suitable for my organization. However, I am always curious to learn from Industry leaders on their approach. This helps me refine my approach and make amendments wherever required.
