We’ve identified four impactful AI use cases that have made a real difference across both IT and business teams:
Accelerating Software Development:
Within IT, our GitHub Copilot licenses are heavily utilized. We see thousands of lines of Java code generated and submitted each month. Developers use it as a productivity tool, enabling faster delivery, improved performance, and significant cost efficiency in development.
Enhanced Ticket Resolution Summaries:
In our ticketing system, AI writes the closing summary based on the interactions within the ticket. While not perfect, it’s far superior to the previous short notes like “problem solved” This provides better documentation and clarity for future reference.
Automated RFP Completion:
We leverage an AI agent to automatically fill out RFPs using knowledge from previous submissions. This is applied both in IT and across business teams, saving time and ensuring consistency.
Legal Query Assistance:
We’ve deployed an AI agent that provides easy interaction for legal questions, both for customers and internal teams, based on our legal knowledge base. This improves accessibility and speeds up response times for complex queries.
Not sure this is the best use case, but I started using Google NotebookLM and find it amazing for creating audio podcasts on documents I provide to it. I can than listen to that podcast while driving or exercising.
Improving the productivity and efficiency on software development lifecycle.
I use Gemini in Google Drive to query the last 30 days of meeting notes content for a particular initiative that has weekly meeting. I have Gemini summarize key discussion topics and action items so that I have a centralized list of action items for the recurring meeting and context on progress for the month.

We are finding the best use as a drafting tool - it helps eliminate the procrastination of a blank piece of paper.
