I always start with user testing sessions where potential users interact with the MVP in real time, allowing you to observe pain points and areas of delight. Our team usually complements this with a closed beta release to a curated group representing the largest segment of the target audience because their hands-on experience can provide amazing insights.

How do you typically incentivize these users to try out your MVP and provide feedback?

Depends, sometimes it will be discounts or free access, sometimes we use gift cards, when I was at Hasbro, free access was best because they get to game AND will give great feedback for the CX, it's all about finding the route of honest feedback loops but within a framework for us to launch solidly.

You become the protagonist and evaluate the MVP. However, this option is complicated and not suggested, primarily due to bias towards the problem definition and its solution.

The best way to test the MVP would be with the users who will use your product or those who will pay for your product.
