We are currently evaluating an investment in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and are considering solutions such as SAP IBP, Anaplan, and O9. Can anyone share studies or benchmark analyses that highlight their features and differences to help guide our decision-making?
I don't have the specific question you are asking about, I'm sorry. I do think there is an opportunity to get ahead of your rivals in how you approach this... Start with what is the planning process which will enable your organzition's results and THEN what is the technology solution which enables that process.
Too often the technology dictates the process when it really needs to be the other way around. Technology may default to an annual rhythm when your context might be better served with a quarterly rhythm. Technology might assume that goals cascades from the top down, when your context might be better served with a network approach to goal setting.
