Gen AI is enabling marketers to strategize better and craft compelling customer journeys. Creation of content is easy and quick. But in this cycle, where is the human intervention non-negotiable? Which content assets and insights must need to be handcrafted? Any thoughts?

GenAI tools are developing and improving rapidly and help make the "blank page" syndrome a thing of the past, but all output requires human intervention. One, because it's not guaranteed to be accurate, and two, you will not stand out simply relying on the default.

GenAI is also opening up new ideas for the type of content that can be created for marketing purposes, with tools like Lore Machine being just one example.  GenAI can be useful for expanding your creative mindset, and ultimately how you differentiate your solution in a crowded marketplace.

The high-value leadership skills will be difficult to replace by technological innovation. The most essential strategy and storytelling will still need to come from human direction and differentiation.

• Goal setting

• Strategic Planning

• Brand messaging authenticity

The details and implementation can be augmented by technology, but removing the human factor simply creates a world of machines engaging with machines. I don't believe that will ultimately work in most businesses.

The problem with GenAI is that it's basically the same for everyone. There really is no customization if you go with the generated ideas and content. Human interaction is needed to personalize your campaign. Otherwise you look just like everyone else.

Exactly. What you get is generic and commoditized content, definitely not a voice of expert.

The target groups and the aims have to be defined by a human being.

While AI significantly aids in content creation, we’ve seen that human intervention is crucial for brand strategy, creative conceptualization, and emotional resonance.
Personalised content and complex data analysis also require my insight for now too due to models not understanding the intricacies at this point.
Finally, I conduct a thorough final review for quality control, blending AI efficiency with essential human judgment and creativity.

Definitely. AI is a good technology to take the idea off the ground. However, to make the content effective, specially thought leadership ones, it is the human expertise and experience that makes the difference.
