Do you have a set process for handling RFPs? Any ways to use these as an advantage?

Our field teams get them all the time. We always start the process with whether this is a good RFP for us to respond to. And in some cases, absolutely, because that's the way that particular account operates or we're doing work in the government space and everything within the government is RFP driven.
If it is a good fit, we start to think about how we respond to the questions. We have teams who focus on curating that content because there are certain things in every RFP that are standard (ie. credentials of the company or qualifications). We keep a library of that update and tune it over time as needed. RFPs are also a way to see how we should adapt, as the RFPs tell us about a market condition we may have missed.
We do, and as a business we sell to folks who work with the Federal Gov't and therefore are required to respond to RFP's. I won't promote or try to sell our services(not sure they'd be relevant if you're not doing Fed work anyway) but there is a whole industry that is based around responding to RFP's and the best practices there. Some organizations like APMP as well are all about writing responses to proposals.
