It hasn't had as much of an impact as I thought it would. We are currently looking at ways to introduce it as a tool.

Best practices recommend that a “True Digital Journey” requires us to adopt various platforms like analytics, API integration, AIOps etc. Do you think most organizations you know are ready for such an immense undertaking?

In terms of ZeroTrust and organizations building out their environments in such a way that makes sense and minimizes risks. As a medium to large enterprise, are you satisfied with your progress to date? To riff a bit more on this topic , NIST 800-207 is a good read, it covers both greenfield and continuous improvement ZeroTrust scenarios. Similar to data compliance, I think most of us never experience greenfield.

In some ways AI has created uncertainty in much the same way as a poorly trained LLM. There is little or no case law to use as guardrails while business users seek to leverage some of the clear benefits. AI proponents have illustrated clear competitive advantages yet pending legislation could make some implementations problematic. Going all in could result in wholesale rip and replace efforts later, but doing nothing while the competition races ahead is arguably worse. Unfortunately, I doubt we will know how AI has impacted our organization(s) until there is additional guidance.
Some organizations such as Adobe and Microsoft are attempting to allay legal fears and get the ball rolling through their indemnification clauses. Microsoft’s CoPilot also happens to be involved in a data collection lawsuit. Notwithstanding carefully crafted indemnification clauses, the costs incurred to implement and integrate tools with existing systems then later disconnect if required, may not be covered. Just my personal view.
