How are other assurance/ ERM teams utilizing AI for risk management?

Part of the Chief Risk Officer's role is to oversee policies in the company.  We have used GenAI to create a bot that takes questions from all employees on policies.  It provides responses from the text of policies and also provides citations (references) with links to read more inside the policy(ies). 

ERM & our SOX teams leverage Gen AI to enhance the creation and refinement of risk and control descriptions, identify risk impacts and potential mitigation strategies, develop control validation procedures, and connect to industry frameworks and compliance requirements.
