How are companies navigating the unsanctioned use of AI during the interview process?

We are trying to do more in person interviews where possible. We are also considering, for remote candidates, to have them come into one of our sites to do the online interview with a remote manager-that would also allow us to connect them better with the organization, and mission, by seeing operations during the interview process. We've also asked that they not use AI, in our invites, as we want to see their authentic selves as that aligns with our mission-don't know the effectiveness of that yet though.
Companies are adopting to updating policies and clarifying questions around AI use.
Companies have not experienced major success in AI Pilot Projects hence, shifting back to live interactive discussions/interviews modes.
