From a learning perspective, one of our goals this year is to infuse DEI concepts throughout our learning content. We aim to reinforce the DEI strategy through the cases and scenarios we employ and the visuals we use. We want our content to be representative of the diversity we aim to achieve.

We define diversity as the differences that drive innovative thinking and benefit our associates, clients, and the communities where we live and work. Equity for us is about providing access to resources, networks, and opportunities through fair practices and policies. Inclusion is about creating a culture where people feel valued, respected, and heard. Our focus is on talent, connections, and communities. We strive to build a diverse workforce, foster connections within our organization to create an inclusive workplace, and serve our markets and communities, particularly underserved ones. Our DEI strategy aligns with our brand promise and business objectives; We believe DEI has a direct business impact in delivering transformative results to support our associate and customer experience, our shareholders and community members.

We define DE&I as a commitment to creating a diverse workforce where each person is respected, seen, heard, and valued. We believe that different perspectives help us do our best work, achieve great outcomes, and make positive changes in the communities where we live and work. We have three foundational principles: focusing on leaders, empowering employees, and improving our people practices. We aim to equip and support leaders to create an inclusive culture, empower employees to create a workplace where everyone can bring their authentic self, and attract, retain, motivate a diverse workforce through fair and equitable talent processes. We also have regional expressions of our DE&I strategy. In Canada, for instance, we are focused on increasing the number of women and indigenous people in our workplace.
