How has employee engagement and productivity evolved at your organization since adopting a hybrid model?

Our engagement scores for our hybrid or remote teams were among the highest in the organization.  Offering team members flexibility has been a strength for us.   Options for some in person meetings have allowed teams to connect but the flexibility of the work day provides some autonomy and better work/life integration.  Our productivity measures do not seem to have been adversely affected by hybrid model, in fact may be better.

In my experience, adopting a hybrid model has had a positive effect on both productivity and engagement.
Related to productivity, I've found the flexible working schedule that a hybrid model allows increases employee productivity. Giving people the autonomy to work at the times and places that best fit their individual needs allows them to produce more meaningful, effortful work - and typically feel a better sense of overall balance. In addition, cutting out what are often lengthy, frustrating commutes every day of the week means more time for both their work and for engaging in other activities that add to their overall health and well-being.
As far as engagement, I've observed that the flexibility and autonomy resulting from a hybrid model ultimately leads to a better overall employee experience - which then has a direct effect on how engaged they are. When employees feel more aligned with their organization's environment and policies, they feel more fulfilled and empowered - and ultimately want to be more engaged and productive.
