How are you including AI concepts training in your 2024 budgets? Are you expecting your PMs to self-educate?

I don't necessarily disagree with your self study approach, but if you don't put some structure around it and actively encourage it, I don't see this getting results. As you know, most product managers are extremely busy and don't take time for this kind of thing unless it's being heavily supported by management. There are a ton of great resources out there that are free that can be leveraged, if someone has enough time to do it.
In reality, unless there is a best in class standard certification for technologies, like these, there is no imperative need to allocate budget. However, I would invest budget into tools, possibly which can help with learning more ways to utilize these technologies, but at the end of the day YouTube seems to be the best instructor for all things technology related, especially if you want to get a 360° view of diverse opinions.
