I'm exploring better ways to demonstrate the outcome-level impact of our Executive Escalation and Social Support functions. We have the usual input/operational metrics (volume, time-to-resolution, CSAT), but I'm looking for more strategic indicators that help prove ROI and business value to the organization. A few angles I’m curious about: Are you tying escalation/social work to revenue protection, retention, or brand perception? Have you established causation between escalation resolution and reductions in churn, legal risk, or public fallout? Are there metrics you use that resonate particularly well with C-level or cross-functional stakeholders? Would love to hear how you're framing this internally, especially if you've found compelling ways to quantify “cost of inaction” or build the case for increased investment.
