Interested in hearing if anyone / their organization has set up an internal career office? If so, what services did you offer? How was it utilized by employees? Can you share any learnings from the experience?

We set up something like that where people can get help with interviewing, resume review, career coaching and guidance, etc. It's posed as an employee development tool, but it's popular. People use it a lot. I'd be happy to tell you more if you would like. My email is mgilliam@langleyfcu.org

Following as I am currently in the process of identifying the exact need for this work in my office. For reference I work for a government entity. Tasks that I plan to develop/offer in this division: Application assistance, resume development and editing, Employee Resource Groups which will assist in networking, building knowledge, and promote collaboration across departments. In addition, I would collaborate with our governing agency with their career counseling division. I would also like to collaborate with our Bureau of Recruitment and Hiring and Labor Relations for union contractual rights to positions as we are a highly union organization.
