The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP) certification is beneficial for non-technical roles such as project managers and business product owners. It enables them to effectively communicate with engineers and cloud providers, and to weigh important factors like cost, risk, and capacity in cloud-related planning and decision-making.

In my personal opinion, I believe that the AWSCCP is an add-on certification to technical and non-technical career paths.  It's the "I know the base operating systems of workstations and servers, and now I want to start venturing into the cloud space a bit" certification.  Are there specific jobs that specifically having the AWSCCP qualify you for that not having it excludes you from, No.  But, nearly any IT or IS non-technical career track such as a GRC analyst or IT auditor can benefit from having the AWSCCP, especially in situations where the analyst will interact with technical folks that work in the AWS space.
