Are most organizations using third party GenAI or are they building their own GenAI implementations?
We are doing a lot of work on genAI and leading the way for the company.
We are now actively using genAI products to do a detailing of our requirements and to a level also help us with the estimations that allow us to take informed decisions regarding the magnitude of a problem. Needless to say, adding the genAI practices to software development is helping a lot with uniform code quality and auto reviews of the codebases.
In the coming year, we aim to enhance our software engineering department by integrating genAI for streamlined automation and improved efficiency. We are exploring innovative strategies to leverage genAI's capabilities, fostering creativity and accelerating development processes.
One of the core strategy I would suggest for applying GenAI to software engineering is to look at complete lifecycle from ideation to scaling rather than just using co-pilot for code generation and testing.
