The team has one shared goal for an outcome: Savings. The savings number achieved is a lagging metric which we track monthly.

The lead metric is the percentage of QBRs delivered to each C-Suite member with a goal of 100%.

According to my understanding below the two most important categories for procurement leaders in 2024;

Cost-focused KPIs:

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction
Cost avoidance
Purchase order (PO) cost

Supplier-focused KPIs:

Supplier performance
Supplier diversity and inclusion
Sustainability performance
