Does anyone have a digital road map to use SAP as a digital strategy to enhance their planning and inventory management? (SAP B1 Capabilities and Digital Supply Chain.) If so, what was the first steps you had to do to get it successful?

Good question. I would recommend reaching out to the SAP if they could recommend their consultants who could design, train, support, and configure or customize the way that fits your operations.
I hope the training and configuring of the system from the software/architecture providers should be in place before the integration as well, and sadly, oftentimes, this never happens.
I have seen similar concerns that some companies spend millions of dollars on costly legacy technologies because that's what other companies are using, just to end up having no one on the team who could harness the functionality or in many cases, just to find out that the team spends a lot of time working around to get the system or software to work, instead of helping people solve the pressing issues on hand.
Please keep up your good work. You care and you will get through this.
Yes, and in fact our company presents at the SAPHIRE events. APM and IBM's MRO offering play a large role in our digital strategy.
First step is to align goals between your purchasers of inventory and consumers. For us, that is supply chain buyers and in-house maintenance. Agree on the first principles, agree on a common data model, then digitize.
