The biggest threat is earning trust. Gaining customer confidence in a new region, especially in fields related to privacy and security, can be particularly challenging.

I'd be concerned about privacy regulations.

Concerns by prospects about privacy will be a strong threat but also the regulatory risk for company from outside the EU is considerably high.

High costs of setting up operations, marketing, and establishing a customer base in the competitive EU market.

Established EU-based cybersecurity companies may have stronger brand recognition and a better understanding of the local market, making it challenging to compete with them.

The EU has strict regulations such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which may differ significantly from those in Asian countries. Adapting to these regulations can be costly and complex.

Concerns regarding data storage and sovereignty, especially with increasing awareness and sensitivity about data privacy, can affect the trust and willingness of EU customers to engage with a foreign cybersecurity provider.
