Andres Rodriguez, Founder & CTO, NasuniWhen we set out to build a file system for the future it was obvious that the cloud would change the way we think about storage in fundamental ways. What was less obvious was that the way companies use their data would eventually impact the evolution of the cloud itself.
This past year I’ve spent much of my time on the road, meeting with large organizations ranging from global industry leaders to large nonprofits and university research centers. What these organizations share is an insatiable appetite for storing, sharing and analyzing data and this in turn is impacting how they re-build their IT environments in the cloud.
In 2019 we expect that the importance of data flow will influence company’s cloud infrastructure strategies in at least three important ways:
Automation the ability to dynamically assign compute and storage resources wherever users and applications need them.
Access the ability to provide company-wide access to critical information and the gradual destruction of hardware-imposed data silos.
Artificial intelligence the ability of our customers to derive maximum value from the growing data they can collect from all corners of their operations.
As your company develops its cloud infrastructure strategy, we invite you to work with us to see how companies across multiple industries have leveraged our cloud-native global file system to solve not just their data storage and protection challenges, but their data movement and sharing challenges.
