CISO in Education, 5,001 - 10,000 employees
The federal government has not made any significant moves - in my opinion- to attract and retain women in tech leadership. A majority of our agency’s employees are women, yet the tech leadership in the same agency is almost exclusively male.
I’m a firm believer that an agency’s diversity should, at a minimum, match and represent the diversity of the community or constituents it serves. Additionally, so should the leadership of said organization.
