We're definitely aiming to BUY solutions rather than BUILDING ones.
However, the key of success is highly linked to the degree of required customization.
10 years ago, we weren't good at keeping it low. This results in increasingly difficult updates with higher costs of annual maintenance.
These days, we are better on this. But we'll need to wait for 2-3 years to really measure the effectiveness of keeping customization low. It's hard to measure and it's hard to achieve.
